Improvements

• Programs - Program Publish Wizard
  The program publishing wizard was reworked to notify the user whether assessments are enabled prior to publishing, and provides instructions and a link to update settings if assessments are disabled. 
  
  
  
• Course Sections - Linked/Cross listed Settings
  A setting available in the Institution/College/Department/Course hierarchy that allowed users to disable syncing from parent courses to linked children is removed, and the default value is that linked sections will always inherit course settings and behaviors.
  
  
• Surveys
  • Hierarchy Roll Up Question Preview in Template Editor
    The preview button in the survey template editor now includes options to preview the published questions that will be inserted using the roll up placeholder question type for the Institution, College, Department or Course instead of just allowing a preview for a specific course section.  This question type must be included in your template to generate these specific preview views.
    
    
    
  • Individual Survey Results
    The export process for individual section survey was redesigned to improve the export results to excel/csv formats.  This is for the Individual Survey Results page - not the aggregated survey results page.  This improves the performance of this export process, but does not add any new or additional export options.
    
    
• Programs - Program Student Outcome Export
  On the Student Outcomes screen of an individual Program, the export process is improved so the user can export a single outcome set individually or select the All External outcome sets option, and export to PDF. 
  
  
  
• Data Collection Detail Audit Report
  This improvement allows the user to view course section level aggregate assessment results in the report when assessment results form item is included in the data collection queried in the report.

Bug Fixes

• Assessment Data Analysis Report
  The excel export option now extracts and displays the data as expected.
• PLO/CLO Direct Assessment Analysis - Time Out Issues
  Large data sets were previously causing this report to time out.  Improvements were made to the report performance to prevent this time out issue.
  
  
• Data Collection Audit Report
  • Instructor Selection
    Previously this report could not be aggregated at the Department level if an instructor is selected.  It is now possible to choose the Department aggregate level and specific instructor parameters are selected.
  • Parameters
    When a data collection includes the aggregated assessment form item, the aggregated assessment results will display in the report, and the outcomes parameter will be limited by the outcomes that are mapped/linked.
    
    
• Course Evaluation Analysis Report
  • Instructor Selection
    Previously this report could not be aggregated at the Department level if an instructor is selected.  It is now possible to choose the Department aggregate level and specific instructor parameters are selected.
  • Parameters
    An issue impacting some users where the parameters saved from the last report run were stuck, and no parameter options would display despite hitting reset, is resolved.  Those users will no longer have issues accessing the report parameters available to them by their user role.
    
    
• Assignment Template - Home Page
  An issue causing an error message indicating a connection error on the assignment template home screen when a new template is created is resolved. 
  
  
• Course Sections - Assignments
  • Assignment Home Page - Zero Maximum Score
    A new, more descriptive message is now available when assignments with an invalid, zero max score are presented and the user opens the assignment home screen.
    
    
    
  • Submission Export
    Exporting assignment artifacts from an assignment in AEFIS now retrieves assignment documents as expected.
    
    
• Program Performance Goal Settings
  In the Institution/College/Department Program settings screen, changes to the number of levels on the Program Proficiency Scale that were saved were not being reflected accurately in the Program Performance Goal Settings below.  This prevented the user from setting a new performance goal that reflected the new levels.  This issue is now resolved.
  
• Assignment Linking Manager - Proficiency Scale Order
  An issue preventing the "display in descending order" proficiency scale option from behaving as expected when selected in the Institution, College, Department, Course or Program level  is now resolved.  When this option is selected in the hierarchy, the levels will display in descending order throughout the impacted hierarchy.
  
  
• Survey Instance Settings - Incorrect Term Display
  A bug in the Survey Term Information section of the Survey instance settings page caused the alert notification in that section to display a previous term's value.   This bug is now resolved.
  
  
  
• Syllabus - ABET syllabus templates preview/export
  Syllabi templates formatted based on ABET standards are now able to be previewed and exported without error when certain fields are empty in the source course/section.  Previously, lack of data in those fields in the associated course prevented successful preview.
  
  
• External Surveys - Link redirect
  External survey links were redirecting users to the AEFIS login page, rather than taking the recipients directly to the survey instance form.  This issue is now resolved.
• Survey Results - Archived Courses
  When a course was archived, the ability to drill down in survey instance results from the College>Department>Course>Course Section results for that course was also disabled, even if results exist.  It was only possible to drill down as far as the Department and no further. Now, course and course section results can be viewed for completed surveys even if the related course is archived.
  
  
• Data Collection - Course section forms
  If a Course was revised after a data collection form is generated and completed for a related course section, the system was overwriting the data in the form and updating it with the new course-related data due to the revision.  Now, a fix is in place that will prevent any course or program updates from impacting a data collection form that is in-progress
