Description: There are some limited situations in which you may be required to revise a Course or Co-Curricular Activity after it is in Published status. The most common cases are when Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) need to be added or updated or that Syllabus Defaults need to be added to the Course/Co-Curricular Activity after the syllabus template is applied and available in the Course/Co-Curricular Activity. Unless you need to make changes to either of these items, we strongly recommend that you do NOT revise and republish a Course/Co-Curricular Activity. Applicable to: Institution Admin, College Admin, Department Admin, Course Coordinator
IMPORTANT: Please note, all Sections for the active term MUST be in Faculty Pending Status BEFORE you revise the Course if you would like these changes to apply to Sections already in AEFIS. If the assigned Sections are in Published status, you will need to select the red REVERT TO FACULTY PENDING button in the applicable Section before completing the steps detailed in this guide.
Step 1: Log into your AEFIS account
Step 2: Select the three white horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner to open the AEFIS Main Menu
Step 3: Navigate to Educational Experiences>Courses or Co-Curricular>Co-Curricular Activities
Step 4: Use either the +Add Filter or the search bar to locate the desired course
Step 5: Select the blue Revise button in the top right-hand corner
The home page will refresh and you will be able to make any changes to your Course/Co-curricular Activity.
Step 6: Navigate to the Survey Questions link in the left navigation bar of the Course. If you see the following message, then click the red Publish Questions button:
This will make sure that any questions added to the Course/Co-curricular Activity previously are available in the next applicable course evaluation/survey that runs.
Step 7: Click the blue Publish button at the top right of the Course/Co-curricular Activity.
