Description: Institution and College Admins have the ability to login as users to view their permissions and access to AEFIS to help their users troubleshoot. This guide will provide instructions on how to act as another user in the system, and how to return to your account access when you are done.

Step-by-Step...
Step 1: Log into your AEFIS account
Step 2: Navigate to Admin Tools > User Accounts
Step 3: Use either the +Add Filter or the search bar to locate the desired user account
Step 4: Once the results display and the user you would like to login as is available on the results screen, navigate to the Actions column and select the Manage drop-down arrow to the right of that user's name - don't worry if you see the same user display multiple times - users are listed in the results for each unique AEFIS user role on their account
Step 5: Select Login As
Note: You will then be logged in as another user, and the following button will be displayed at the top of your screen:
Restore Session will you log out of the user's account and return to your AEFIS account.
Step 7: When you are finished navigating through that user's account, select the blue RESTORE SESSION button as seen above
Please Note: College Admins and Department Admins can ONLY log in as Course Section Directors, Instructors, TAs or Preceptors. If a user is both a Course Section Director and has a Department Admin role they cannot log in as that user. The same would be is an Instructor or TA also has a student role.
Please Note: You can only be logged in as one user at a time. You cannot login as another user in another tab. Attempting to login as multiple users at once will lead to an error message. Therefore, please remember to always select the Restore Session button when you are finished navigating through another user's account.
