Have no fear, the Program Assessment Cycle is here!
The Assessment Cycle has been the highlight of the 3.45 release. With 3.45's new feature, you should expect to tie any program in AEFIS directly to its assessments. Any time, a program is revised or updated with new or edited program learning outcomes; curriculum mapping; etc - that program's In Progress assessments will update accordingly.
Applicable to: Institution Admin, College Admin, Department Admin, and Program Coordinator
Step 1: Log into your AEFIS account
Step 2: Select the three white horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner
Step 3: Navigate to Programs>Programs
Step 4: Use either the +Add Filter or the search bar to locate the desired program
Step 5: Select Manage in the corresponding row of the program
Step 6 (Optional): Select the blue Revise button in the top right hand corner, if the program is not already In Revision or in Draft status
Step 7: Select the Assessment Cycle tab in the panel on the left-hand side
Step 8 (Optional): Toggle the setting "When PUBLISHING this program, also update in progress assessments to use this revised program." Any changes that you made to the program will automatically apply to in progress assessments.
Step 9: Toggle the setting "Enable Assessments for this program" - This setting will simply generate an assessment instance for the program, starting from the chosen term (Step 12). To prevent assessments from generating for this program, simply disable this setting.
Step 10 (Optional): Toggle the setting "When disabling assessments for this program, also DELETE IN PROGRESS assessments
Step 11 (Optional): Toggle the setting "Enable an Assessment Cycle for this program" - This setting tells AEFIS to generate assessments for this program based on the set and desired assessment cycle - until disabled.
Step 12 (Optional): How many terms would you would like in the assessment cycle? - Select how many assessments you would like to run for the corresponding program
Step 13 (Optional) When would you like the program assessment to start? - Select any (Active or In Progress) term, in which you would like the assessment to start
Step 14: Once you have made all desired changes to the Assessment Settings, select the blue SAVE ASSESSMENT SETTINGS button
Step 15: Select the Assessments tab in the panel on the left-hand side to view a list of all available assessments and those assessments that have been completed for the corresponding program
Step 16: Select the Manage button to the corresponding assessment, which will take you directly you to the Assessment Home Page
Step 17 (Optional): Select the drop-down under the Actions section and select the Results button to view the results for the assessment
