Outcome: Faculty will gain a better understanding of generating and navigating Course Evaluation Analysis reports.
Description: This report is used to display evaluation data from a single class to multiple classes. Evaluation data such as average answers to questions, what the strengths and weaknesses are in a class, or comments from anonymous students is generated and easy to understand.
Instructions
- Beginning at the faculty user's home screen, scroll down the page until the Reports widget is in view.
- Next, locate the “Course Evaluation Analysis” report from the list of reports, and select the blue pencil icon. This will bring the Report Parameters page up for this report. (For this demonstration, the Student Course Evaluation Analysis by Faculty will be used).
- Once the Report Parameters page is reached, the faculty available filters can be selected. Select from the following filters. Some filters can have one or more selections.
- (a)Term
- (b)College
- (c)Department
- (d)Course
- (e)Instructor
- (f)Course Section
- (g)Show Comments - will show comments survey takers left for certain questions
- (h)Survey
- Once all filters are selected, select the blue Run Report Icon at the bottom. Or if a new search is needed to be done, select the Reset Parameters icon, and this will reset the filters.
- The Course Evaluation Analysis report will be generated.
- Course Learning Outcome (CLOs) data will also be shown if course(s) in report contain Course Learning Outcomes.
- Course Learning Outcome (CLOs) data will also be shown if course(s) in report contain Course Learning Outcomes.
- The report is available for export by selecting the Export icon on the right side of the page.
- The report can be exported to a PDF, CSV, Excel document, or it can be printed.
- The report can be exported to a PDF, CSV, Excel document, or it can be printed.
