Description: Survey instances have a results page where admins may access results by institution hierarchy or by instructor. This article provides guidance on how to access and filter these survey results. Note that this is different than running a survey report from the Report Dashboard as this occurs within the survey instance.
Applicable To: Institution Admin, College Admin, Department Admin, College Survey Admin, Department Survey Admin
Access Survey Results
1. Open the AEFIS Main Menu at the top left and navigate to Surveys
2. Use the filters to identify the Survey you would like to review
3. Click Manage next to the Survey you would like to open
4. On the left navigation panel, select Survey Results
Review and Filter Survey Results by Institution Hierarchy
1. By default, the Survey Results screen will display by Institution Hierarchy
- To see institution or college results, you can click the Results button next to the aggregate results at that level
- To disaggregate results further by the hierarchy, click the arrow icon next to the college to reveal departments, course, and instructor-section levels so you can then click the Results
2. Select the Results button next to display the results for that College/Department/Course or Section
3. To change the results view, click the View Individual Results button at the top right - this will provide each anonymized individual result through a drop down filter
4. Use the Export drop-down to export to CSV, Excel, and PDF - note that you may select exactly how you would like the results to export
View and Filter Survey Results by Instructor
1. On the survey results page, select the blue Actions button at the middle right of the results area - note that this is not the grey Actions button at the top right
2. Choose Results by Instructor from the Actions drop down
3. The results will display by instructor. Select the Results button to see the instructor's aggregate results for that survey, or use the arrows to display and video the individual section results
4. Use the Export drop-down to export to PDF or Print
